di pasticceria: The range of Carlotto liqueurs includes others which, beyond being pleasing dessert liqueurs, are essential ingredients used in pastries: Alchermes, for example, a classic liqueur for zuppa inglese, can also be used in frappes; Mandorla Amara can be added to the dough for pies, focaccias and panettoni; classic Maraschino is used with pineapple and fruit salad in general; Creola, once known as "Fantasy Rum", adds fragrance to cakes. Cedro, Amaretto, Anice Forte and Stella d'Oro (similar to brandy) can be used in a variety of ways. Other Carlotto & Co. liqueurs are classic Italian "digestives", such as Rabarbaro, the cordial China, Amaro Felsina, Fernet, and finally, the classic aperitif and cocktail liqueur, Bitter. |
